Our mission is to provide excellence in comprehensive dental care. We will work tirelessly to improve our quality of services to you while being friendly and courteous. We will strive to earn and maintain a great relationship, as well as your trust.
We respect your schedule and will seat you on-time, and always provide one-on-one time with Dr. Strohmeyer. We will help you understand your dental benefits, be available and approachable to answer any questions or concerns. From procedures on young children to retirees, we pride ourselves on patient comfort and peace of mind.
Born in St. Louis, he spent many of his school age years in northwest Arkansas. Upon moving to Cape Girardeau, MO, he attended Notre Dame Regional High School. He attended Quincy University in Quincy, IL, where he earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences.
Following graduation from QU, he spent a year with Americorps, volunteering through the Franciscan Volunteer Program. Stationed in Chicago, he worked at St. Peter’s in the Loop, coordinating volunteers and helping with various outreach programs. He also worked at The House of Mary and Joseph, a homeless shelter with 250 beds, which was open 365 days a year.
He spent the next two years in St. Louis working as a dental assistant and taking evening classes to prepare for dental school. As a fourth-year student at University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry, he was one of 6 senior students selected to teach in the pre-clinical lab with first- and second-year students, during a year with a faculty shortage. Dr. Strohmeyer was a proud member of the class of 2004, which ranked 2nd out of 55 dental schools, on part two of the National Board Exam.
Upon graduation, he taught full-time in the UMKC School of Dentistry’s Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for one year. During this year, he also worked part-time with a family practice. In 2005, he and his wife moved back to St. Louis, where he worked at Dental Care for Kids until 2007. In 2006, he opened his current Family Dental Practice in Brentwood at the corner of Brentwood and Manchester.
He, his wife, and their four children live in Glendale. Dr. Strohmeyer remains committed to having quality drive his practice, rather than gimmicks and marketing. He attributes his successful growing practice to hard work, an excellent staff, constant continuing education, attention to detail with each and every procedure, and respecting all people. He would be honored to be your oral health care provider.
Jessica joined our team in 2009 as a Dental Assistant. After many years working as a part of our clinical team she joined our front desk team and will most likely be the voice on the other end of the phone or greet you upon arrival. Her clinical experience and the relationships she built with our patients has made the transition from our clinical team to front office team seamless.
In her free time, Jessica looks forward to time with her husband Matt and four children who range in ages from 9-19! She enjoys time with her family, friends & cats, as well as cooking, going to concerts, Cardinals baseball games and gardening.
Laura began her dental career in 2004 in pediatric dental practice, and joined our team part time in 2016. She began her time with us filling in as a Dental Assistant and has even spent some time with our front office team. In 2020 she graduated from Saint Louis Community College at Forest Park as a Dental Hygienist and has been with us full time since! She is very knowledgeable about all things dentistry and has been a great asset to our team.
Away from the office she enjoys spending time with her daughter Charlotte, going to sporting events, attending concerts, trying new restaurants, traveling and gardening.
K.C. has been a very important part of our team since 2008! She is our longest standing team member. She graduated from Saint Louis Community College.
She enjoys spending time with her 3 adult children, riding her bicycle, traveling with friends and family and spoiling her grand dogs!
Katie has been with Dr. Strohmeyer’s office since 2017. She grew up in St. Louis and graduated from Missouri College for Dental assisting in 2009. She then became a certified dental assistant and her primary focus is patient education and to help ease dental anxiety as much as possible.
She enjoys indoor cycling classes and painting in her free time and loves spending time with her husband and pets.
Amber began her dental career in 2014 after graduating from Missouri College, and has been with Strohmeyer Dental since 2021. Amber has experience in Endodontics, General Dentistry, and even has lab experience. Amber has volunteered with Give Kids a Smile to help less fortunate children with their smile and confidence. Amber strives to make patients visits with Strohmeyer Dental pleasant and comfortable, especially when being at the dentist isn’t the most comfortable place to be.
If you hear a loud laugh coming from the back, you can bet it’s Amber! When Amber isn’t helping Dr. Strohmeyer perfect smiles you can find her with her boyfriend, and his two children. In her free time, she enjoys working out, going to church, traveling, spending time with family, and snuggling up to her two cats Joseph and Rose (you may even see them on the computer screen if you’re lucky to be in operatory four).
Mondays: 9am-6pm
Tuesdays: 8am-5pm
Wednesdays: 8am-5pm
Thursdays: 7am-4pm
Fridays: Reserved for continuing education, staff meetings, maintenance, administrative tasks. Open one Friday a month for major restorative treatment from 8am-2pm.
