Composite Fillings at Strohmeyer Dental

Quality, Affordable Family Dental Care in Brentwood, MO

Strohmeyer Dental is a trusted provider of dental filling services, dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health. As a leading dental practice, we understand the importance of providing our patients with the latest and most effective treatments, which is why we offer composite fillings as a top choice for dental restorations.

Benefits of Composite Fillings

Composite fillings are made from a mixture of plastic and fine glass particles, making them a popular alternative to traditional silver amalgam fillings. Unlike silver amalgam, which can cause a noticeable darkening of the tooth over time, composite fillings are tooth-colored and blend seamlessly into the surrounding teeth, providing a natural-looking result. Additionally, composite fillings can be precisely matched to the shade of the affected tooth, making them a great option for patients who want to preserve the appearance of their smile.

One of the biggest advantages of composite fillings is their versatility. They can be used to repair a variety of dental issues, including cavities, cracks, chips, and gaps between teeth. This versatility makes composite fillings a great choice for patients who have multiple dental problems, as they can be used to address all of these issues in a single visit.

Another benefit of composite fillings is their durability. With proper care, composite fillings can last for many years, providing long-lasting protection against further decay. Additionally, composite fillings are less prone to leakage and are less likely to break or fall out, making them a safe and reliable choice for dental restorations.

At Strohmeyer Dental, we use only the highest quality materials and state-of-the-art techniques to ensure that our patients receive the best possible results. Our dental professionals are highly trained and experienced in the placement of composite fillings, and we use only the latest technology to ensure that our patients receive the most precise and accurate treatment possible.

The Filling Process

The process of receiving a composite filling is simple and straightforward. First, we will remove any decayed or defective filling material. Next, we will carefully shape and prepare the tooth to receive the filling, making sure that the final result will be comfortable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. Finally, we will place the composite filling and carefully shape and polish it to ensure a natural-looking result.

Composite fillings are a safe and effective option for dental restorations, and they are an excellent choice for patients who want to preserve the appearance of their smile. With composite fillings, you can enjoy the benefits of a strong and durable dental restoration while maintaining the natural appearance of your teeth.

At Strohmeyer Dental, we are committed to providing our patients with the best possible dental care, and we believe that composite fillings are an important part of achieving this goal.
